Pfizer, Social Alpha, and IIT-D launched the INDovation Program to support breakthrough healthcare innovations by start-ups in India. The program aims to equip healthcare systems for a post Covid19 world. The two-year initiative is for a cohort of 6 start-ups to accelerate their commercialisation journey through grant support for product development, clinical validation, regulatory pathway, market access, and industrial collaborations. The program has two tracks – focused on Digital Health and on Oncology.


Program Offerings

Grant Support: Grant of up to INR 65 Lakh for product validation, pilot testing and market access
Venture Acceleration: 24-months engagement for curated technical and business advisory
Clinical Validation: Planning for clinical validation, trials and real-world evidence studies, access to testbeds
Regulatory Support: Guidance on product certification, regulatory approvals, patents, and standards
Product Development Support: Advisory support for Design for Manufacturing, Product development - Android, Cloud, UI/UX
Market Access and Scale-up Support: Facilitation of introduction to national public/private healthcare systems through partner stakeholders
Marketing and Branding: Support for digital and print media coverage, and showcasing opportunities
Business Advisory Workshops: Workshops with experts, specialists, and sector leaders for developing the product market fit and go-to-market strategy
Access to Social Alpha Knowledge Services: Access to renowned industry experts for mentoring and knowledge sessions conducted by Social Alpha
Opportunities for Follow-on Funding: Opportunity to pitch for Social Alpha’s seed support and pitch to a large and diverse investor and donor network
